Fourth command: (string-append "Term test" "is" "difficult")

I had a term test in the course CSC104H on Thursday, Feb. 7. I guess I wasn't really ready for this test at the time. I had 4 term tests on the same week and an 1500 word essay to write. It was very hard to decide which course to prioritize and focus on. If I had started studying earlier, I might have done more studying before the tests. Like always, I can't help but have some regrets.
On the test, the question about fibonnacci number totally threw me off. It was not necessarily a difficult question but I never went over that part of lecture again and panicked when I saw the question. I couldn't think it through calmly, so I messed up on that question.
I did the past tests to make myself feel more ready. I don't know if it's just me but past tests seem always easier than the actual test I have to write. The past test that the professor provided was, again, easier than what I had to face on Thursday morning. Perhaps the real exam feels harder because of  the pressure and the time limit.
I hope I'll plan ahead and have more time to study for the next tests in this course. I will also go over lecture materials more carefully.

Eleventh command: (problem solving (counting pennies))

Today was a extremely productive day. I finally completed the project 2 which I had been delaying until the last minute and handed it in before the deadline. Two other people from my class cooperated with me in finishing up the project. We went to the office hour on Thursday but felt that there were not enough TAs to help out the students. We stumbled over the check-expects and asked the TA in the lab for a hint but her explanation rather confused us than help us solve the problem. Nevertheless, after labourious hours of attempts, all the tests were passed. The last problem we had was manipulation of the base size of the triangle in the fractal project. I tried changing the definition of the sierpinski function, and then, I could manipulate the base size of the triangle by pressing keys. I was working with my classmate, Jiwon http://jiwoncsc104.blogspot.ca/ , to finish the problem solving project. We chose the penny piles problem and tried to work on our own at first. H...

We have a Hulk

We have a Hulk,.. living upstairs and driving me crazy. My apartment's walls and floors are paper thin. It feels like a hulk is following me around everywhere with a humongous phone that is buzzing 24/7.  Man, it sucks to be poor. Architects who build anything with thin walls must be punished for making so many people's lives miserable. It's only been a week since I started working from home, and I'm already on the brink of insanity. And I'm not getting anything done. Ahhhhhh this familiar sensation. Depression, it is. Who wants to become paranoid on top of being depressed? Is it just me?  Please have mercy on me, Mr. Hulk

Eight command: (string-reverse "mid-term 2")

This Thursday, I had the second midterm test for the computer science course. Since I'd crammed all the information the night before for the last test, this time, I tried to study more regularly and plan things ahead of time. I guess my strategy and effort paid well enough. The cheat sheet really helped me study for the test and helped me during the test. After this test, I was confident about the result and had fewer questions to ask. The first mid-term had some questions on things that were covered in the course but were paid minimal attention during the lectures. However, this mid-term felt really like a fair game. I would still be unsure and curious about the result until the mark comes out, but I'm more hopeful.
